Dallas - April 26, 2010 - Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Dallas (CCCS of Greater Dallas), a nonprofit provider of free housing and credit counseling and education, has almost completed its free offering of 65 free webinars this April in honor of Financial Literacy Month. The agency is also giving away a $100 gift card to five lucky consumers who attend at least three webinars.
The webinars will focus on a number of personal finance topics including information on recession proofing your finances, understanding the CARD Act, credit scores, basic money management, budgeting and savings goals, foreclosure prevention, identity theft, as well as several other subjects. "It is our goal to provide resources and knowledge to consumers so they can make their own smart financial decisions," said Todd Mark, vice president of education. "These free, live webinars will allow people to take advantage of financial education, whether at work during lunch, or in pajamas at home at the end of the night. Consumers can learn so much from these webinars, and to reward them for making an effort to improve their financial well being, we will give away $100 gift cards to five individuals who attend at least three different webinars!"
Consumers still have the chance to win the free give card by attending three webinars sometime this last week of April. I schedule of available classes is listed below.
